Lego Demensions – What you need to know about the upcoming Lego based portal game.

Lego has released images and info on its upcoming Lego videogaming universe. The Lego-based portal game will work similar to Skylanders, Disney Infinity, or Nintendo Amiibo. You will start with acquiring the starter pack which includes the game, the portal stand, and 3 minifgures. This set will be available for $99.99 on Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4. After you have that, you can purchase expansion sets which will include a minifigure or minifigures that you can then place on the portal and bring into the game. We will know more about the specifics on how this works later on when the game is closer to being released. The release date for the game and select packs is September 27th, 2015. There will also be a second wave of packs released on November 3rd, 2015.

Jurassic World Videogame Pre-Order Items Revealed!

Looks like there will be 2 different items given away in the Jurassic World Videogame. The first will be available exclusively for those who pre-order the game at Gamestop. This version will include a free polybag that includes a Gallimimus dinosaur in it. The other will be available exclusively at Target. This version will have a free Dr. Wu minifigure in it. He is not an exclusive fig though, he will also be available in the Indominus Rex Breakout set. Here are images of the 2 items. Enjoy!

Jurassic World Updates!

New updates are slowly rolling in on the new Jurassic World sets that will be hitting later this year. Earlier this week, Lego confirmed that we will in fact be getting a Jurassic videogame. What’s exciting about this is that it will be based off of all 4 movies, not just the new Jurassic World film.  Lego Jurassic World Videogame

That’s not all though. We also get to see this silhouette type picture of all the sets that will be released. This confirms the release date in May which we already knew.

I’m thinking this looks very promising, even if it doesn’t show us anything but black and white shapes. 🙂 Finally, we have the first official minifigure image from the Jurassic World sets. This fig is of Owen (Chris Pratt) and will be included in the 75917 Raptor Rampage set.
